June to September is the ideal window when roads are open and weather is pleasant.

How to Reach Spiti

Two main routes connect Spiti to the rest of India:

  • • Manali-Kaza: 202km via Rohtang Pass (summer only)
  • • Shimla-Kaza: 412km via Kinnaur (year-round)
  • • Nearest airport: Kullu (Bhuntar) ~250km

Altitude Awareness

Kaza sits at 3,800 meters (12,500 ft). Acclimatization is crucial.
